Why did you become involved in PWC NJ?

In a male-dominated industry, I believe it’s especially important for women to support and uplift one another. When I learned about PWC NJ, I saw it as a valuable opportunity to connect with other women in construction, build meaningful relationships, and be part of a network that advocates for our growth and representation in the field.

Why/when did you decide to pursue a career in construction?

My brother has been a union pipefitter for over 20 years and has worked on hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, and many other large-scale projects. Growing up, I always loved hearing him say, “I helped build that” as we’d pass by a job site. About three years ago, I got the opportunity to follow a similar path, and I’ve found it incredibly rewarding. It’s exciting to be part of building something that serves so many people and makes a lasting impact.
